Fisk had been associated with the Brigade for between nine and 10 years. |

The many friends of Lce-Sgt. Walter J. Frampton, who was well known and highly esteemed in Adelaide, will regret to hear of his death from wounds sustained in the fighting with the Australians against the Turks at the Dardanelles. Deceased was born a nephew of Messrs W.A. and P. Horn, at one time engaged in business in Adelaide. Lce-Sgt. Frampton was born on the west coast and was educated at St. Peter's College. He proceeded to Glasgow University to study the medical course, which he afterwards followed up at the Adelaide University. He was subsequently engaged with Messrs W. Horn & Co., then with Luxmoore, Dowling & Jeffrey, Ltd., and after that with Bagot, Shakes, and Lewis Ltd. About two years ago he went to Western Australia and there enlisted with the first reinforcements for service at the front. His mother is in England. He was married, and has left a widow (nee Miss Prior, of Woodside).
